Studio Days

Good morning Monday!

Today is a studio day in Durango Colorado with bright sunlight for carving new handmade jewelry!  Usually I carve with hot wax, dental tools and an electric pen something like a fountain pen for wax to draw lines and build up form... Today I am working with saws and files to carve down and create jewelry in a relief style, a more traditional lost wax technique.

Sunday Jewels

Sundays are for coffee, yoga and gratitude.  Simple jewels I think, the kind we slip on and gracefully wear from brunch to skis and into the hotspring.  Handmade jewelry that acts as a friend and reminder of joy we bring along for an evening hot toddy!
