Double Trouble

It's autumn, sunny and gloriously colorful in Southwest Colorado, climbers are out, leaves are rustling and putting on a prismatic show of time.  I'm running between soup on the stove, walks in the woods, galleries and the studio!

Please join us this Friday, October 21 from 5-7pm at the Durango Arts Center for the opening of Double Trouble: the work of Dan Groth and Crystal Hartman exhibiting through December in Durango Colorado.   We've pieces together a collection of paintings, collage and illustrations to share stories of inspiration, growth, communication and the humanity of it! And I am so, so excited to share.

Willowtail Springs and Honeybees

In five days it will be an honor to head to Willowtail Springs as an artist in residence sponsored by the Durango Arts Center! I am so grateful for this opportunity!

While in residence I will study pollinators and work on a series of drawings -detailed studies of the honeybee, representational paintings of fertility and the human condition.  Stay posted for illustrations, bees in art and updates from Willowtail Springs!

xx
